Katie is a compassionate speech-language pathologist (SLP) who implements a family-centered, educational and multidisciplinary approach. After graduating with honors from The College of Saint Rose, Katie began her career in early intervention (birth-3) and elementary school before settling into a middle school in New York. For the past 20 years Katie has worked with educators, families and administration to provide comprehensive therapy to adolescents. Katie understands education and the role that speech-language plays in a school for both staff and students alike.
Katie is licensed in both New York and Florida. She coaches families and schools with practical strategies to help their students’ speech-language-educational development. Her experiences in elementary, middle and high school along with early intervention guide her multidisciplinary approach to speech-language therapy.
She has participated in a variety of training, has been a presenter at the New York State Speech-Language Hearing Convention and has consulted remotely by providing In-Service Trainings to professionals and families. In addition to her role as an educator Katie has served on multiple committees including building and district wide cabinets. Katie is now accepting individuals, families and school districts for telehealth and consulting needs. In person services are also available on a limited basis.
